💰 Make money creating videos about whatever you're interested in (without even showing your face!): https://magnates.media/youtube Fanta has a dark origin story, as the drink was initially made from food scraps in Nazi Germany. It all began when Japan bombed pearl harbour and america entered world war II, as this meant American companies had to stop doing business with Germany. This was a disaster for Max Keith, who was the head of Coca-Cola in Germany. Suddenly he could no longer import Coke syrup from America, and so he had no product to sell. But Keith wasn’t gonna give up that easily. He ordered a team of chemists to create a new drink for the German market that was kind of similar to coke - it would still be a fizzy caffeinated soft drink, but since they couldn’t use coke syrup, they used leftovers like apple fibers, fruit pulp, and whey, which is the byproduct of cheese curdling. It doesn’t exactly sound appealing. But they branded the new drink Fanta, and it became a huge hit in Germany. Especially since many foreign soft drinks had been banned due to the war. After Hitler was defeated, the Coca-Cola company rebranded Fanta and changed the recipe to get away from its Nazi past. They also promoted Keith, who helped make Fanta one of biggest soft drinks in the world. #Fanta #Shorts #Coca-Cola #Business #documentary #businessstories #entrepreneurship #finance #story #short #money
